A Touch of Whimsy

Six different dice help determine the direction of your box:

🌶️ D4 — The Heat

📖 D6 — The Tale

🗝️ D8 — The Realm

🌙 D10 — The Mood

✨ D12 — The Treasure

🔮 D20 — The Wild Card

Your rolls help determine the themes, colors, treasures, and overall personality of your box.

No two boxes are guaranteed to be alike. That’s the point.

🌶️ D4 — The Heat

Determines the spice level of your mystery. You choose your comfort zone, and we roll within it.

📖 D6 — The Tale

The story element that inspires your box:

💕 A Love Story • ⚔️ An Adventure • 🔮 A Touch of Magic • 🖤 A Dark Secret • 🏡 A Found Family • 🗝️ A Mystery

🗝️ D8 — The Realm

Determines the creature, world, or story realm that may influence your box:

🐉 Dragon • 🧚 Fae • 🧙 Witch • 🧛 Vampire • 🐺 Shifter • 👻 Paranormal • ⚔️ Epic Fantasy • 🖤 Mortal Chaos

Mortal Chaos includes mafia, sports, cowboys, rom-coms, and other contemporary stories.

🌙 D10 — The Mood

Sets the overall feeling of your mystery:

Cozy • Whimsical • Romantic • Dark • Witchy • Gothic • Magical • Cottagecore • Mysterious • Feral

✨ D12 — The Treasure

Determines what kind of little treasure finds its way into your box.

Bookmarks • Stickers • Journals • Pens • Crystals • Potions • Reading Accessories • Stationery • Enamel Pins• Desk Accessories • Handmade Treasures • Mystery Treasures

🔮 D20 — The Wild Card

The roll where anything can happen. A little extra magic, an unexpected treasure, a second roll, the Familiar’s choice…you never quite know what this one will bring.

Every mystery needs a little heat—but how much is up to you. 🌶️

Choose your preferred level on our Heat Index, from sweet and slow-burn to scorching hot.

Your Heat Index selection sets the boundary for your D4 roll. The dice can still surprise you, but they won’t roll you into a heat level you’ve told us you’re not comfortable with.

🚫 Know Your Nos

Mystery should be fun—not stressful.

Before we roll, you’ll have a chance to tell us your Hard Nos.

Maybe mafia romance isn’t your thing. Maybe vampires, pregnancy tropes, or a particular genre make you want to yeet a book across the room. 😂

Tell us. We want to know.

Your Hard No’s become guardrails for the rest of the roll. We’ll still surprise you, but we won’t intentionally send something you’ve specifically told us you don’t enjoy.

The dice create the chaos. You set the boundaries. 🎲

Choose your preferred reading format:

📖 Print & Ink

For those who love the feel of a physical book.

📱 Pages & Pixels

For those who prefer their library tucked neatly into a screen.

Then tell us a little about yourself:

🎨 Favorite Colors

Give us your top 2–3 colors so we can make your box feel like yours.

💕 Favorite Tropes & Themes

Tell us what makes you immediately add a book to your TBR.

🚫 Hard Nos

Anything you absolutely do not want us to roll your way — creatures, tropes, themes, genres, or anything else you’d rather keep far away from your box.

✨ Anything Else?

Special requests, aesthetic preferences, or anything else you think we should know.

The more you tell us, the better we can tailor your mystery.

You choose the boundaries. The dice create the adventure. 🎲✨

A little random. A little ridiculous. Completely curated.

Welcome to your mystery. 🐈‍⬛✨
